Shimmy is an artist and filmmaker based in Sydney. She has completed her degree in Bachelor of Visual Arts, majoring in Screen Arts at The University of Sydney in 2020. Shimmy was chosen as the recipient of The Jerome De Costa Memorial Undergraduate Scholarship in 2019 and was chosen as the winner for USU Creative Awards 2019 in the Art category for her work ‘The Object Problem’.

Since graduating, she has continued to develop her skills working professionally on music video sets, assisting on feature film and interning with the award winning Australian filmmaker Riley Blakeway.
