Clownfish - Work in progress
I'm currently working on finishing a short film called Clownfish, which started in 2023. The story follows a clown on an obsessive search for the “perfect fish,” driven by a deep need to escape her current self by becoming something else. The idea is loosely inspired by Johatsu (蒸発), a term in Japan meaning “evaporation,” where people choose to disappear from their lives, leaving behind families, jobs, and identities to quietly relocate and start over completely new.
The entire film set was created by hand with three other crew members, glueing, stitching, painting, spraying, scrunching.
